Novel helps its operator plan and review authorized security assessments. A local session worker can acquire an account session for an exact approved target when registration is permitted.
Controlled registration
Novel uses a distinct email alias for each approved registration request. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards that mail to the operator's mailbox. The local worker matches a verification message to its exact alias, target, request, and issue time.
Optional Gmail access
With the operator's consent, Novel reads verification mail through the Gmail API. Google grants a mailbox-wide read-only permission; Novel's worker searches for the exact alias and uses the matching code or link locally. Read how that access is handled.
